Knight High School Program Coordinator

Reports to:  Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs

Course release/teaching load:  18 credits per academic year, 9 credits per semester (fall/spring) teaching load, with 3 credits course release/stipend in fall/spring/summer.  Fall and spring consist of 3-credits course release each semester, summer will be a 3-credit stipend in an amount to be determined by VPAA.

  • Administer and coordinate all aspects of the program, in collaboration with partnering high schools and teachers.
  • Communicate with school district administration and teachers concerning the program and administrative processes, including creation of syllabi, enrollment/registration of students, and administration of grades or withdrawals.
  • Contact new local school districts to discuss potential new collaborations.
  • Communicate with VPAA/AVPAA to create a MOU/contract for each of the partnering school districts.
  • Communicate with department chairs or MSMC faculty about new potential courses.
  • Mentor the next Director at the conclusion of service in the position.
