ED 5459 STUDENT TEACHING IN EARLY CHILDHOOD AND CHILDHOOD
A teacher candidate shall complete a semester of supervised instructional experience in a designated area cooperating school. Half the semester will be in an early childhood classroom (Grades prek-2) and the other half will be in an elementary classroom (Grades 3-6).
Prerequisite
All applicants for student teaching must be matriculated and recommended by the division as having evidenced potential for effective teaching on the early childhood and elementary school level. All coursework must be completed and the student must be in good academic standing.
