Procedures pertaining to the individual graduate programs in Business, Education, and Nursing follow this first section, which applies to all programs.

The admissions policy at Mount Saint Mary College emphasizes flexibility and individuality. The appropriate program carefully evaluates each prospective student's application on the basis of past academic achievement and potential for success at Mount Saint Mary College.

Mount Saint Mary College does not discriminate in the admissions process on the basis of race, creed, national origin, age, disability, sex, or marital status of the candidate for entrance.  Pursuant to, and consistent with its obligations under Title IX, the College does not discriminate on the basis of sex, and prohibits sexual discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct and sexual violence, in connection with any of its educational programs, activities, admissions, or employment practices. The College will make efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities in the majors of their choice.
