REL 3161 CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE
This course will examine the Deposit of Faith as it was preached in the Kerygma of the early church. The essentials of the early Christian faith are discussed including The Trinity; the Hypostatic Union and the uniqueness of Jesus’ personhood; Salvation and Redemption; the Resurrection and Parousia; Revelation and the Inspiration of Scripture. Finally, the course will discuss how these doctrines are relevant in the understanding and practice of the Catholic faith today.
