REL 3056 THE PSALMS & WISDOM LITERATURE

A course designed to meet the interest of students wishing to pursue study of the Old Testament, especially in the area of the Psalms and prayer. A detailed study of the book of Psalms including the various types of psalms, their meaning and importance in the life of Israel, interpretation in Jewish and Christian traditions and its use in worship and liturgy.
