REL 3030 CONTEMPORARY MORAL PROBLEMS

This course considers what constitutes the highest good for humans and how that good is attained.  The Judeo-Christian belief system provides answers to these questions based on divine revelation, which serves as the foundation for moral theology.  This course will consider some current moral questions in light of this tradition of philosophical and theological thought.  The course will use the moral and theological virtues as a framework for understanding the moral life as a whole and for considering specific moral issues that society currently faces.
