Student Health and Wellness Center

Mount Saint Mary College's Student Health and Wellness Center under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Students and the Executive Director of Health and Wellness, provides a holistic approach to promoting the health and wellbeing of all students. The Student Health and Wellness Center comprises of the offices of Health Services and Counseling Services. These offices work collaboratively on wellness services that enrich the personal and academic growth of MSMC students. The Student Health and Wellness Center provides students with medical, counseling, and health education services that enrich their personal and academic growth. The Student Health and Wellness Center emphasizes a holistic, patient-focused approach to healthcare and wellness — often including mental, emotional, functional, spiritual, social, and community aspects — and treating the whole person. These services are complemented by a strong training and consultative role that promotes overall health, wellness and safety on our campus. Some of the collaborative services include, but are not limited to, substance and alcohol education, screening and preventative services, support for student housing and food insecurities, crisis services for medical and mental health issues, violence prevention services, and offers the PACT support program for students with anxiety and related diagnoses.
