ED 5226 MULTILINGUAL LEARNERS

This course will provide an introduction to multilingual learners, who they are and how to best scaffold your instruction to meet their needs. Teacher Candidates will be exposed to multiple teaching strategies to differentiate curriculum at the K-12 levels. Teacher candidates will learn about culturally responsive teaching with a focus on trauma-informed practices. Teacher Candidates will develop materials appropriate for their current students and/or fieldwork placement students. The course will require fieldwork.
