The Mount Saint Mary College Faculty Award

  • Purpose - To publicly recognize significant contributions to the College by members of the College community including faculty, administrators, Trustees, or other individuals associated with the College.
  • Format - A framed scroll, with the appropriate citation expressing the specific contributions of the individual cited, and indicating the history of the established award.

Guidelines:

The Faculty Affairs Committee solicits, receives, and judges nominations and submits its recommendations to the Faculty Senate who has final approval of the nominee.

  • Any full-time faculty may nominate a candidate.
  • The award is not necessarily given annually.
  • The award may be given to more than one individual.
  • The recipient will be announced at graduation.
  • The Chair of the Faculty Affairs Committee presents the award during Commencement.
