The Mount Saint Mary College Faculty Award

Purpose - To publicly recognize significant contributions to the College by members of the College community including faculty, administrators, Trustees, or other individuals associated with the College.
Format - A framed scroll, with the appropriate citation expressing the specific contributions of the individual cited, and indicating the history of the established award.

Guidelines:

The Faculty Affairs Committee solicits, receives, and judges nominations and submits its recommendations to the Faculty Senate who has final approval of the nominee.

Any full-time faculty may nominate a candidate.
The award is not necessarily given annually.
The award may be given to more than one individual.
The recipient will be announced at graduation.
The Chair of the Faculty Affairs Committee presents the award during Commencement.
