NUR 3013 ADULT HEALTH NURSING I

This course focuses on the nursing care of people with significant health alterations including disorders related to surgical procedures, oncological, neurological, endocrine, sensory, cardiovascular, hematological, and respiratory systems. Emphasis is on health promotion, disease prevention, nursing management of health disorders and recovery from illness within an evolving health care system. Political, socioeconomic, technological, ethical and legal issues impacting the client are examined as they relate to and affect nursing intervention. The application of the nursing process is the basis for clinical decision-making.
