CHI 1010 ELEMENTARY CHINESE I
An introduction to Mandarin Chinese for students with no prior background. Develops listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through the study of everyday language and communication. Students master the Chinese Pinyin romanization system, acquire basic vocabulary and grammatical structures, and gain familiarity with Chinese cultural practices. Topics include greetings, family, dates and time, hobbies, and social interactions.
