NUR 4070 INTERPROFESSIONAL PARTNERSHIPS AND TEAM BASED CARE
This course explores the role of nursing within inter-professional teams, emphasizing collaboration, communication, and shared decision-making to enhance patient care. Students will develop effective communication skills, apply team dynamics principles, and integrate nursing knowledge with insights from other healthcare disciplines to improve health outcomes. The course also focuses on fostering mutual respect, continuous learning, and shared values within healthcare teams. Additionally, students will utilize informatics and communication technologies to enhance care coordination and optimize patient outcomes across diverse settings. This course is offered for students in the RN-BSN program only.
