ED 3552 LANGUAGE FOR STUDENTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Candidates will deepen their understanding of processes and milestones of speech and language development. They will identify how development is impacted by autism, cerebral palsy, severe and moderate developmental disabilities and other disorders. Strategies for promoting speech and language development will be explored including using forms of augmentative and alternative communication and assistive technology.
