PSY 4850/4860/4870/4880 INTERNSHIP IN PSYCHOLOGY

The internship course provides students with the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills gained in the human services/psychology classroom to work in the field.  Internship sites offer students a broad scope of professional activities, including engagement in program development, intervention, education, training, assessment, consultation, social science research, and/or outreach and direct services.  Each intern follows an individualized training plan specific to their needs and geared to their facility. Internships help students prepare for entry into the field of human services/psychology or for graduate work in social sciences. Grading Pass/Fail.
