POS 3030 GLOBAL POLITICS, 1890-1950

Want to understand our current global order? Global Politics, 1890-1950 illustrates how the 'Global North' (America, Europe, and Japan) and the 'Global South' (Africa, non-Japan Asia, Latin America and the Middle East) influenced each other's development between two world wars and the Cold War's outbreak. It studies the complex international historical events and processes that shaped twenty-first century notions of extra-territorial power, human rights, and the creation of alliance, monetary, and economic systems designed to address crises in the Global Order.
