GAM 3150 3D GAME DEVELOPMENT

  • This project-oriented course in game development includes elements of both advanced artistic expression and computer programming. Students will work in teams to design, implement and test a three-dimensional game with interactivity, animation and networking capabilities. We will apply design principles and software engineering best practices to produce a playable game experience. We will begin with an existing game design and update the documentation as indicated by engineering realities, evolving game design sensibilities, and the rigorous playtests which will inform the adaptations in successive iterations of our games. The final product will include a funding pitch targeting end users or a potential funding body.
