ED 3470 CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION FOR EARLY ADOLESCENCE EDUCATION

 

The student will examine curricular implications of developmental characteristics of middle school/junior high school students (10-14 years). Students will learn to:

  1. design and adapt instruction to accommodate the needs of early adolescents including those with disabilities,
  2. respond to a range of maturities within and among students, and
  3. communicate effectively with individuals from a variety of cultures.

Field work is required.

A grade of C+ or better in an ED 3400 level course OR ED 3120; minimum GPA of 2.75
