NUR 5500 RESEARCH FOR THE ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSE
This course focuses on the development of analytical skills needed by the advanced nurse practitioner in supporting an evidenced-based practice. Emphasis is on the systematic evaluation of research and the transferability of findings into clinical practice that improve health outcomes. Integrated throughout the course are bio-medical ethical principles governing the protection of human research subjects and benefits of information technology.
