PSY 3430 PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY

The study of drug action in the human nervous system. Topics covered by this course include the basic principles of pharmacology and drug testing & action as it pertains to psychotropic medications, theories of psychopharmacology and physiological aspects of human emotion/motivation/reward, as well as the use of pharmacotherapy for the treatment of mental disorders.
