Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS)

The Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) program has been consolidated into Part-Time TaP effective with the 2025-2026 academic year. A separate APTS application is no longer required or accepted. Eligible part-time students at MSMC enrolled in 3 but fewer than 12 credits of degree applicable coursework may apply for Part-time TAP through the standard TAP application process via HESC at hesc.ny.gov. Part-Time TAP awards are prorated based on actual credits enrolled and tuition. Students should contact Financial Aid with questions about their Part-Time TAP eligibility.
