BUS 3130 ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE WORKPLACE
Generative AI is having and will continue to have a major impact on how businesses and industries operate. Industry should view AI as "a general-purpose technology akin to electricity, the steam engine, and the internet. Its impact on performance and competition will be clear in just a few years". For these reasons students should graduate with an understanding of what they will encounter related to AI when they enter the workforce. This course will introduce AI, machine learning in the workplace, prompt design, and the impact of AI on society.
