Sport Management Minor

The Sport Management minor provides students with a strong foundation in the business and management principles that drive today’s sport industry. Designed to complement a wide range of majors, the program introduces students to key areas such as sport marketing, event and facility management, finance, law, and contemporary issues in sports. Students will develop practical skills in leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving while exploring career opportunities in intercollegiate athletics, professional sport, community and youth programs, and international sport organizations. The minor is ideal for students seeking to enhance their professional preparation in fields such as business, communication, education, and health sciences.
