Digital Literacy
Demonstration of minimum digital literacy is a requirement for all degree-seeking students. It is recommended that this is completed within the first two years of study for traditional students, and in the first year at the Mount for transfer students.
Digital literacy can be satisfied by successful completion of CIT 1052 (Digital Literacy) or CIT 1100 (Fundamentals of Computing).
Note: Students majoring in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Game Development, and Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, or minoring in Information Technology or Cybersecurity, are required to take CIT 1100 Fundamentals of Computing.
* MSMC will NOT accept a course equivalent to CIT 1052 or CIT 1100 if it was taken 10 years ago or more.
