Application Procedures

Applicants must submit the following:

1. A completed application form.

2. On campus writing sample required if not certified.

3. Official transcripts from all institutions attended, undergraduate and graduate. Official transcripts must meet the following requirements:

   a. Sent in an official capacity from all institutions the student previously attended. 

   b. must contain letter grades for all completed coursework. 

4. Two academic or professional references. 

5. Proof of the applicant’s valid NYS teaching certification, if applicable. 

Once the application file is complete it will be forwarded to the Division of Education for review. The division will contact the applicant to schedule an appointment to meet with the Graduate Program Coordinator after division review of the application
