PED 1162 YIN YOGA
In this Yin Yoga course, students will learn about the Chinese and Taoist principles of Qi (energy) that runs through the body. By holding various poses that stretch and hydrate connective tissue, blockages are released for enhanced mobility and energy to flow freely.
This course includes developing and learning a Yin Yoga practice to increase flexibility, boosts circulation, and reduces stress levels. Additionally, an important component of Yin yoga is utilizing and learning how breath work enhances the practice.
