Residence Life

Mount Saint Mary College offers a variety of residential living options designed to support students' academic and personal development. The College's residential facilities—Sakac Hall, Dominican Center, College Courts, and 35 Elmwood—comprise 12 buildings that accommodate between 24 and 252 students each.

First-year students reside in Sakac Hall, while upper-class students may choose to live in the College Courts or the Dominican Center. All residence halls are co-educational by floor or wing. Rooms are fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, closet, and dresser. They are equipped with air conditioning, wireless internet, and wired internet access.

Each residence hall features common areas and amenities, including lounges, study spaces, kitchens, laundry facilities, snack and beverage machines, small fitness rooms, and mailboxes.

The Office of Residence Life, led by the Director of Residence Life, oversees the residential program. Each residence area is supervised by a professional Resident Director and supported by a team of student Resident Assistants. These staff members are available regularly to assist students, address housing concerns, provide resources, coordinate hall events and educational programs, and help maintain a safe and welcoming living environment by implementing campus policies.
