SOC 4400 POLICE ORGANIZATION & ADMINISTRATION

This course will provide the student with a comprehensive overview of historical and pro-active managerial theory with emphasis on the practical application of administering a law enforcement organization. Classroom discussion will concentrate on such topics as leadership, planning, controlling and organizational development.
