MUS 1040 INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC

Designed to acquaint the student with important masterpieces chosen from different periods of music. Musical style, forms and techniques are discussed and demonstrated. Wherever possible, the work is related to the development of ideas and styles in art, literature and philosophy and to concurrent political development.
