MTH 1400 ELEMENTARY FUNCTIONS
Concepts and techniques of algebra that have important applications. Sets, real number systems, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of linear equations and matrices and applications are stressed throughout the course. No credit permitted for those with earned credit in an equivalent course or for students who have taken a higher-level course for which this is a prerequisite.

MTH 1000 with a passing grade of C or better OR satisfactory score on math placement test
