HSR 3220 METHODS OF SOCIAL RESEARCH

This course introduces students to research methods commonly used in investigating social issues. Students become familiar with the logic of social research, its design and analysis. Students will be able to apply a variety of data collection methods, and to analyze their appropriateness under different research conditions. Students will select a research topic dealing with a current social issue and generate an appropriate research design.
