Global Politics, 1950-2020 illustrates how the 'Global North' (America, Europe, and Japan) and the 'Global South' (Africa, non-Japan Asia, Latin America and the Middle East) influenced each other's development during the Cold War and the entropic Age of Pluralism that has emerged since 1991. It studies the complex international historical events and processes that shaped twenty-first century notions of extra-territorial power, human rights, and the creation of alliance, monetary, and economic systems designed to address crises in the Global Order.
