HCM 4900 SEMINAR IN HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT
The seminar in healthcare management is designed as a capstone experience to assist the student in reflecting upon, summarizing and applying specific management tools the student is reflecting upon, summarizing and applying specific management tools learned in prior classes to healthcare managerial situations. The course will broaden the student's understanding of the healthcare manager's role, including the use of diagnostic and analytic techniques. Students will examine their understanding of healthcare management in various settings. In addition, the role of leaders, managers and organizational members will be discussed.
