BIO 4020 PARASITOLOGY

The study of protozoan, helminth and arthropod parasites with emphasis on those of importance to the human host; morphology, life histories, ecology and host/parasite relationships are discussed. Laboratory consists of morphological study of known specimens and recovery and identification of those parasites having medical or environmental significance. *this is a laboratory science course

A minimum grade of C in the following courses: BIO 1040 or BIO 1140; a college-level chemistry course, and one other biology laboratory course numbered 2000 or above
