CHM 1080 NURSING CHEMISTRY FUNDAMENTALS

This course will introduce the student to the basic concepts of general, organic and biochemistry specifically as they apply to the life sciences. The 3-hour laboratory scheduled for the course will include one hour of recitation which incorporates problem solving and the quantitative aspects of chemical behavior, along with 2 hours of hands-on laboratory work. *this is a laboratory science course

High School chemistry course, MTH 1000 or equivalent score on math placement; if CHM 1000 is taken, must earn a grade of C or better.
