BIO 1040 ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY II

This course is a continuation of BIO 1030. The structure and function of the endocrine, circulatory, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems of humans will be emphasized. Lectures will concentrate on the functioning of systems listed above. During laboratory sessions, students will complete exercises entailing mammalian specimen dissection, the examination of human models and perform physiological experiments and computer simulations illustrating the functioning of the human body. *this is a laboratory science course
