HIS 4112 INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION IN ENGLAND

This course examines the origins, technological and financial innovations and consequences of the Industrial Revolution and of the Agricultural revolution which preceded it. The course also studies th epolitical and social climate of Britain from 1700 to 1850. Students in the class will visit sites in England related to early industrial development.
